Heard a chase going on in Fletcher around 4:00 a.m. It stared behind Fletcher Plaza and ended on eastbound I-26 at about mile 54 near the highway 25 connecter after Henderson County used the stop sticks to blow out the tires. Turns out a chick was driving and had a male passenger. She had tossed something out the window of the vehicle around the Four Seasons Blvd. exit. Fletcher Sergeant said the reason for the initial stop was a possible breaking and entering. Sure must have been an exciting morning for the Fletcher and Henderson County boys.
Yeah, they got up to speeds of like 80+ miles per hour prior a county unit deploying the stop sticks and them finally arresting her. Pretty exciting stuff, considering I used to be a Fletcher cop and know most of their current officers.
