Exclamation GSMNP monitoring this weekend

Will be sending updates to RR on some new NAC's I got while monitoring the Blue Ridge Parkway and the GSMNP. Unbelievable amount of action on 170.3875 parkwide repeater. I had 282 hits on the 106. Lots of theft and other stuff going on in the park. Including shots fired. My wife couldn't believe all the action going on in the park. Just missed seeing some bears. The rangers were asking for warning signs. BAH!

Submitted the frequencies with the NAC's. I'm guessing as soon as Marshall can update, ya'll can get scanning the GSMNP and Blue Ridge Pkwy

Thanks Larry! I hope I can get them worked into the database this evening. I still have to also setup a Wake County 396xt Freescan file for another forum member as well. Gonna be busy evening!

Talking Gsmnp

I was in the GSMNP area Fri,Sat and Sun. Larry the NAC's were dead on for the GSMNP and I was also surprised about the almost of non stop traffic. I monitored with and without NAC's just for test. The only ones I could not get to match up were the Blue Ridge Parkway P25 system had to monitor CSQ(F7E NAC). I can hear them here at home but cannot decode the proper NAC's., I don't have a scanner just my XTS. Anyone in range to scan it ?
