Wake Co Rebanding?

I heard 3 different SO Deputies go out of service at the radio shop reference "radio rebanding" today........is that part of an ongoing gradual change that I've missed, or are they shifting it into high gear in Wake?

There are new rebanded control channels going in the list. During the process, they will have both old and new. When the process is over, the radios will be reprogrammed once again to get rid of the old control channels.
