7705 TRS New Sites
I'm finally checking out the federal bands and I came across what sounded like control channels on a two UHF frequencies. I ran Trunk88 and got a little bit more data:
7705-003, 407.2250 MHz
7705-004, 407.8125 MHz
7705-005, 407.5000 MHz
7705-006, 407.8625 MHz
Site 5 & 6 I heard with just a plain ol rubber duckie, and though it was scratchy, it still decoded enough on T88 to show the 2 neighboring sites. Can anyone else offer input? Site 1 & 2 are marked to be a part of Ft. Bragg/Pope AFB in the database, but that's a pretty good distance for a TRS to travel in my opinion, even on a good day.

Well currently I'm in Charlotte, I caught it yesterday around 5:00 pm, and even if it is skip, it's not in the db and I'm just curious if anyone else could do a quick search and see if they can get the CC too. It may in fact be skip, but I'm still getting it this morning so I'm not entirely sure.

I am barely picking up the CC on 407.5000, but am getting 3-4 bars on 407.8625 here in the Matthews/Stallings area with just the 330 and a Diamond RH77CA

Have Unitrunker running on the TRS. (love a vacation with no plans;-))
I've never tried to load a 400 Mhz TRS in the scanner before.
How would I figure out the band plan?
UT has come up with this:
Monitoring 407.8625 shows as site 6 with 4 additional sites of #3, 4, and 5.
LCN shows as 449 for site 6 on 407.8625.
Site 6 shows additional hits on LCN's of 40,60, and 126.
Have already logged 126 hits off a couple of groups.
How do I take this information and use it to be able to monitor through Unitrunker or load the system into the scanner?
Site 5 is showing LCN of 420 with CC of 407.5000.

The numbers that you refer to as LCN are the offset or whatever you call it, I did an equation in Excel and got something like (OFFSET x STEP) + BASE = FREQUENCY, with your BASE = 402.25 & STEP = .0125
If you put 449 in as the offest, you get 407.8625 MHz, and if you put 420 in, it gives you 407.5000 MHz. I know that's the equation for calculating the bandplan, but I'm not sure if that's what you enter into the scanner or not... Someone with experience will have to help you out with that but I'm going to try it and see how well it works and if it'll track.
