Question Why was the codes deleated?

Just wondering why has the codes and fire stations list been removed from some of the NC counties? Was this a legal issue or other reason for them being taken down?

Thanks for the answer

The ruler of RR thinks it would be better if the data is put on a collaboration page. In the counties you are interested in at the top left of the page click the collaboration link to see if your counties data was moved there.

At this time we're about 1/3 of the way getting all the station lists, 10 codes and other things moved out of the NC database and into the wiki. So if you don't find it in the database, look in the wiki for now. If neither area has what you are looking for, then we don't have it. Right now, the only thing I see in Franklin county is a fire station list.

The reason for moving the data is simple. It gives the users the power to modify and change this data without the DBAs being involved. They can, therefore, concentrate their efforts in the data for the database, where it should be in the first place.

You can get to the collaboration gateway (which is the front page for the project) somewhat more quickly if you float your mouse over the Wiki pulldown under the Scanner Master logo and select Collaboration. From there select your state, then go to the page with the list of counties. Anything in blue is a link to that county's page.

Well if they're neither in the database nor in the wiki (yet), you now have the opportunity to develop a list yourself 73 Mike
