Yep, Folks I know you want to help make the database as accurate as possible but please take the time to accurately verify TGID usage. We can tell when the submitted talkgroup is far off from the actual usage and will reject the submission. Nothing personal but help us make sure the database is accurate for everyone.
Thanks

Please be patient when submitting and listen to the tgid more than a little bit, usually at some time they will id the channel by name, as i've heard dispatch tell someone to go to tac 4, then i hear the same voices on 6517, dispatch calling the unit number. a little patience goes a long way and helps ensure that the DB is correct as it can be.

Thanks!

Heard numerous transmisions today on talkgroup 52109. Based on the one TG already in the database, I'm guessing this is either Wildlife Resources District 9 or one of their Common Channels - anyone else able to identify this talkgroup?

A big thank you to whomever submitted all those Alamance County TGIDs! From the detail I'm going to assume it was one of our folks with close ties to the system operations!

Thanks again!

Default New frequencies-western NC VIPER

I have been trying to figure out if the tower frequencies changed around Buncombe County. I have a HP-1 and have had VIPER until their changes. I talked with a trooper this week and he said Buncombe had changed on Monday.
When using the new TGIDs and Freq's in RR I cannot pickup anything VIPER in Buncombe.
I did a frequency limit search and found VIPER on 851.050, 851.100 ,851.3875, 851.400, 851.4375, 851.5750, 851.8500 and 852.1625. When I use these frequencies with the RR TGIDs I still get nothing. Any ideas?

Did you change the type of trunked system to P25 in addition to the new talkgroups?

I used the existing RR data and changed it to a 12.5 split instead of 25k to get all of the newly found freqs.. It was already set for Motorola/P25.

I'm not familiar with the HP-1... On my GRE, the system type is P25 AUTO... Not MOT 800/900...

Thanks I went back and created a new group using p25-standard. Still nothing, but I did note that there is no choice on audio type which used to show digital. No way to change it from blank to anything else.

That one is difficult, the user runs tags as if he's doing a traffic stop, or out with a suspicious vehicle, but I just can't grab an I.D....it is like fishing though, I'm going to stay on the spot for awhile

The Control Frequency for Meadows is 853.67500... Is that the frequency you are monitoring?
