Question Help!! My head going to explode!

Today I downloaded my General Class Manual.. I started to read it till my worse emany showed his ugly face. MATH!! I have a learning disability (I'm Slow) but one I get it I don't for get it. I am a hands on learner. I need to see it, to hold it, to learn it. I can Add, Subtract, Some multication, little deviding, thats it. I did not have a good school learning. They thought that people with disabilities were not worth there time till I was in 7th grade and a very nice teacher took her time with me to try to catch me up with the real world. But the math part of my life is incompleat.

So... What I need help with, and asking if there is some-one in the Weaverville Area willing to help me understand the general class book? Thank -You for your time.

Algebra is nothing more than doing basic math in a certain order.

Just do what is inside parentheses or brackets first, then do multiplication and division, and do addition and subtraction last.

There isn't much math on the general test, so don't get too worried about it. You'll do great.

You can take a calculator into the test.

You can go to HamTestOnline™ - Ham Radio Exam Courses and Ham Radio Practice Exams and use that to study. It uses the question pool. I'm not the best at math and I just passed my general only missing 1.

Practice Practice Practice

It's more about reading and repetition, then you start to remember...

I don't recall needing to do any math?
After reading the book a couple times, I focused on the pool of questions and memorized them, once I was above 85% I took the test.

The rest I've learned in the forums and hands on from friends I've made.
