If you only plan on Monitoring within the Wake County Area you can either Avoid (Lock Out) or delete the sites other than the Wake County Simulcast site. My personal opinion is to create favorites lists of specific monitoring targets (ie: Statewide Events TGs) and don't delete the non-needed sites but just avoid (lock out) them. That way in the rare cases that I do end up outside of the Wake County Simulcast coverage area I can just temporarily avoid Wake County and un-avoid the area in which I will physically be in. But to each their own.

I am scanning in Wake County and Added the VIPER network to my Favorites list. I have deleted or avoided all of the channels I do not need or care to listen to on VIPER. My main question is dealing with all of the “Sites” at the bottom of the VIPER list in Sentinel. Do all of these sites need to be left alone? Are there certain sites that I need and Don’t need? My favorites list is working fine, I am just trying to learn and fine tune things… plus delve a bit deeper into how things work.
