Default A little help

I have a Pro-106. When it comes to loading freq. I have no clue. I had Pitt County loaded on it, and it worked fine, but now it seems like at night it just goes out. Can someone tell me if there is somewhere I can go to get someone to check it out. I live in Greenville. Any and all help is needed, because now it want scan anything at all. Thanks in advance for all assistant.

Are you using software for it? If so, what software?

Do you have VIPER programmed in? That is what 99% of the city & county is using. There is a new digital system that the PRO106 cannot decode, but I don't believe it will be used for another few months.

First advice would be to turn the scanner on. Press TUNE. Punch in 868.3750. Press ENTER. See if you're decoding the control channel. If nothing on that frequency, try 867.9875 instead. This will ensure you're able to receive the Greenville VIPER site. Once we confirm that, we'll go from there.

where are you at night? does the 106 stay in the same spot all the time? what antenna are you using? i go to greenville every like 8 weeks are so and run the greenville and farmville sites pretty dern good.
