It's the same it's been for the last 2 years. Nothing is really going to change, you just have to keep trying new things and looking for that sweet spot. The tower on Babe Stillwell Farm Rd. is going to be the key. It is active, it is turned up, it's operating as a simulcast site on the 2D0 system.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.1.2; en-us; EVO Build/IMM76D; CyanogenMod-10) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

I've had decent luck here of late with the p25 reception off the Cornelius tower. It is finicky though and I haven't figured out the optimal solution either. I'm using a 396 with different antenna combinations and orientations and just don't have a solid handle on it. It seems to be weather dependent as well. My best config is the 396 with the radio shack (GRE) 800mhz antenna.
