That time of the year again folks...guess we can start a roll call of who will be in attendance :)
I plan on being in attendance...if you see my ugly mug make sure you introduce yourself and say hello!

ARRL NC State Convention
2013 Theme - Emergency Communications

Planned exhibts include Cary CERT Emergency Communications Trailer, WINLINK,
KD4AGQ Mobile Communications Trailer, Raleigh PD Mobile Command Post,
ARES AUXCOMM, and Salvation Army (SATERN) SATCOM trailer.

FREE PARKING

Admission $7 pre-registration (Payment must be received by March 23)
$8 if purchased after March 23 or at the door.
A $100 prize will be drawn from pre-registrations.
Age 16 & under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

Walk-in VE Testing RARS Volunteer Examiners conduct a W5YI VE Test Session at 9:00 AM.
Walk-ins are welcome until 10:00 AM. The current W5YI exam fee is $14.

Talk-in 146.64 Mhz RARS repeater. (Backup is 146.88 Mhz WB4TQD repeater.)
NOTE: The backup repeater will not be monitored unless needed.

Will be there arriving shortly after 8AM..

In your wandering around stop by the Durham FM Association and Orange County Radio Amateur tables.. They will be side by side..

btw Marshall, if you can make the next DFMA meeting on April 2, KJ4GDW and I will be making a video presentation of a visit we were able to make to the VOA Station in Greenville.. Awesome to see..

Cold War is over so they are running QRP power now :<) :<) only running 250kw on their transmitters capable of running 500kw..

Will stop by and say hello...we still have a DFMA repeater at our Camden Ave tower site :)
