Will be working on a job site in Zebulon for awhile, traveling back and forth to Raleigh. Can anyone suggest the best frequencies to keep me up to date with road conditions? Thanks!

Nothing more than the usual broadcast outlets; WRAL-FM 101.5 "Mix 101.5" has the beautiful & talented Vanna Fox as part of their morning show and she keeps pretty good tabs on what's happening out there.
The old Traffic Patrol Broadcasting folks on a UHF commercial broadcast frequency are long gone. They used to be the source of a lot of info the radio & TV Stations used; but they tended to cut up a lot when they weren't delivering a report. Some days, it was the best show on radio. Certainly, they had a lot of people working for them who had faces made for radio..... Marshall, Bryan, Ben, etc.

Thanks I like wptf myself, but I was thinking of nc shp talk groups working 64 and 540.
