Question Durham, NC Frequencies

I have been listening to Parkwood Fire Department and they use OPS channels to communicate once at the scene. I have looked them up which are located here: http://www.radioreference.com/module...=TRSDB&sid=290

If you look at teh OPS Channels they have channels like:
-----------------------------------------------------
Durham Ops (Operations) Talkgroups []

DEC HEX Description
48176 bc3 OPS 1
48208 bc5 OPS 2
48240 bc7 OPS 3
48272 bc9 OPS 4
48304 bcb OPS 5
-----------------------------------------------------

How would I find the frequency to listen to these channels?
Thanks!

The frquencys are at the top of that page. If you are monitoring them on the trunked system then the talkgroups you are asking about are on there. If your scanner is set to a closed system, you will need to add those or open your system to monitor them. I hope this was clear enough and helps. If not one of the other good people on here can simplify it for you.

Welcome to RR.com!
I would recommend going to the following link at the RR.com Wiki:
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Trunking
This will catch you up on all the basics of Trunking and answer your question
about what a talkgroup is, etc....
it might help us help you if we knew what type of scanner you are using (ie: model #)
so that we know if you have a trunktracking scanner or not....
Happy Monitoring!
