TV trucks and choppers were everywhere.
Choppers had a hard time in the high wind.
There a s**tload of people there.
I think that I must have been the only one there with a scanner.
Everybody kept asking me how much longer?
When they finally set it off...man was it loud!

So Long Coliseum!
I was sad to see it go. The real Hornets (before Shinn got way too greedy!) gave us lots of great memories. I even graduated from UNCC there (that was before UNCC got its own arena). The city lost out on the coliseum deal.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I worked at THE COLISEUM from '93 till they shut it down.
I basically only did stage security during concerts.
I met them all.
Working backstage you got to see and meet some of the nicest in show business.
There always a few asses( no names mentioned ).
The citizens of Charlotte really got screwed with the arena.
I 've only worked there twice since it opened( Stones and Elton).
No desire to go back.
I was there when it blew this morning.
A lot of people cheered as it went down...I just turned away and walked to my car.

I've lived in many cities, Charlotte's got it's issues, but it's far from what your opinion is.

You're not seeing the same people I did, it's two very different worlds in meckland. If you just see the nice and safe side, then you're the lucky ones. I deal with reality, and that invloves a lot of criminals and scum that love Charlotte for all (the victims) that it has to offer.
No offence guys, but I'd never live there.
P.S. I never had any goats, but I knew someone who raises them. All those mexicans have to eat something :lol:
