It's that time of the year again Ladies & Gentlemen...Time for the annual NC State Fair...This thread is devoted to radio communications info used around the fairgrounds:
As Far as the State Of NC/VIPER system I would keep the following talkgroups handy:
I would also keep these NC SHP Troop C Channels on hand as well:
2256= SHPTRPCX Troop C
2288= SHPTRPCCOMMON1 Troop C Common 1
2320= SHPTRPCCOMMON2 Troop C Common 2
I would also keep an ear out on the Business Band/MURS Frequencies:
151.8200
151.8800
151.9400
154.5700 "Blue Dot"
154.6000 "Green Dot"
And if all of the above is not enough to monitor and you feel like getting waaay overloaded by inane chit-chat program in the FRS/GMRS frequencies...I promise you nothing will make you lock out a channel quicker than listening to about 10 conversations on the same FRS Frequency/Channel!
I will sticky this thread for the duration of the Fair and ask that you keep posts in this thread related to radio comms around the Fair only...any off topic posts will be deleted...
Thanks and enjoy the Fair!
