About an hour ago I was in Willoughby near 90/91, and had the 500 with me with the RS 800 duck. Lake sounded pretty clear at times and overall intelligible. Ditto coming back down I-271 to Highland Heights.

Cuyahoga was still bad and I had to switch it off.

I am gaining on Cuyahoga County MARCS P-25 by changing advanced settings on PSR 800. I have got it far better now then it has been at any time in the past month. Course I don't know what I have done to MARCS, Parma P-25, Bath P-25 etc. That is yet to be seen.

Heard another talkgroup 27560. Sounded like traffic between FD chiefs discussing manpower and reports of a possible fire at substation in Kirtland. I believe Mentor, Eastlake, and Kirtland were in on the conversation.

I heard traffic on this talk group and thought it was a west-side location (was babysitting a down tree on wires across the road and must have been in one of those rare locations that I could receive this system).

Unfortunately, I couldn't pay that close attention. This storm has us running all over town.

TG59685: Last night I monitored a dispatch to 1431 Waterbury, tree took down power lines. That address is in Lakewood just off of Detroit Road. The unit assigned to the call replied back to "Storm Command". Sounds like Lakewood Emergency Ops.

TG13500 has also been very active since last evening. Due to LSM garble I haven't copied any specifics.

I am hearing quite a bit of activity on TG59685, and in fact was going to look it up when I saw this update. Will note specifics when I can. BTW, that TG is 100% crystal clear!

Also hearing clear comms on TG13500.

Tg 59685 also heard during storm only lakewood fd units heard. This tg still being heard today. (all locations given were in lakewood)

not sure if this is a tac channel for the system or just lakewood. No pd traffic heard.

Nothing heard on the uhf freq. For lakewood fd during same time.

Tg 27539 was that fd traffic or pd traffic?

Tg 13500 i beleive to be university hts fd. Private tg.

Their unit numbers would start with 11xx.

They are dispatched via eastcom. (cleveland hts., shaker hts. And university hts. Fd's)

I clearly heard "242" earlier today so I have no idea who that might be.

TG59685: A few minutes ago I heard part of an announcement "We are switching back to our regular radio system".

FD's units starting with 2xx are Cleveland hts. and or Shaker Hts.

FD's units starting with 11xx are University Hts.

Did you heard 242 on 13500?

If so this may be a tac channel as aposed to University private channel

Yes. I'm scanning a bunch of other local systems so I didn't get previous or subsequent transmissions, and that was perfectly clear whereas the other stuff on that TG was garble. It's funny how that system sometimes is perfectly clear and other times not. I had the attenuator enabled and thought that was better, but then disabled it and it's now much better. Who knows.....

I camped out on TG13500 for the last 20 minutes. I heard the several transmissions with unit # 2XX. I also heard a call from a unit to Eastcom.

Note, getting significant garble. So I'm hearing only part of the traffic.
