He is out toward Dayton so somewhere in that neck of the woods. They're not peers to Columbus or Circleville, and not audible from Columbus, either.

Do you have the capability or hooking your scanner to a computer and running Pro96Com or Unitrunker to obtain full site details [including site neighors]?

I understand that the Ohio State Highway Patrol is on MARCS. What other agencies in Southwestern Ohio are also on it? Thanks.

Hi,

This thread is about MARCS-IP. Your question appears to be about MARCS. If you want to know who is using MARCS, just check out the DB.

I am picking both of these sites up in Lima off a Uniden 396XT with an 800 MHz antenna with the 774.30625 coming in stronger.

This is what Unitrunker is showing:

Site 001-022 (WPTZ770) CC 774.30625 AC 769.35625 Neighbors are 001-018, 001-023, and 002-028 (Lima)

Site 001-023 CC 774.58120 AC 772.98125 Neighbors are 001-015 (Troy), 001-022, 001-028 (Greenville), and 002-028 (Lima)

Thanks, Mike. I'll digest an add it to the DB.

Mike,

We don't have 001-018 in the DB. Can you try and get the frequency of that peer off of 1-022 ?

Thanks

Mike,

Based upon that info I think 1-022 is Wapak and 1-023 is Celina. I have added them to the DB that way. The Alt CC of each site is on an existing license for each site.

If you can get the CC for 1-018 (peer of 1-022), that'd be great.

Thanks

Mike

Based on signal strengths, I would concur with your assumptions on the locations.

1-018 is CC 773.15625

Also both sites are now showing a peer of 1-019 with a CC of 774.53125 I'm unable to receive that CC.

Mike
WQRI426 (OHIO, STATE OF) FCC Callsign Details shows 773.15625 as a freq. This the Bellefontaine license. And that would make sense [in my mind] since Bellfontaine (if 1-018) is a direct neighbor (distancewise) of Wapak but not Celina. And you said that the Wapak site did indeed list 1-018 as a neighbor.

For now, I'd say that we should imagine 1-018 to be Bellefontaine. Let's face it -- it's a guessing game most of the time since the primary CC [and in some cases the alt CC] are often using freqs from the blanket license.

I'm betting that 1-019 is Fort Recovery, Osgood (North Star), or Sidney.

Mike,

Lima was originally reported to have the following neighbors:

1-008, 1-026, 1-028, 2-012, 2-031, 2-035

Can you check Lima when you get a chance and see if any of those neighbors changed?

Thanks

Mike

Neither 18 or 19 is audible or shows as a neighbor in the Columbus area (including Riverview).

Lima is showing peers of 1-008 (Urbana), 1-015 (Troy), 1-022 (Wapakoneta), 1-023 (Celina), 1-026 (Marysville), 1-028 (Greenville), 2-012 (Marion), 2-031 (Findlay), and 2-035 (Paulding)

Thanks. I updated the neighbor listing for Lima. It'll be interesting to see if 1-018 pans out to be Bellefontaine in the end.

From your location can you hear 773.15625 or 774.53125?
