Default TGRP 10298

I have been logging some new TGRPS on the 700Mhz IP MARCS with my pro-106 TGRP is 10298 and the RID is 1190033

Im using the springfield tower

All i have heard on this is radio check 1-2-3-4 4-3-2-1 radio check. Nothing but that.

I know they start the RID with the county number then the ID so im pretty sure county 11 which is champaign county a county above me maybe might possibly be switching to the new system

Let me know what you guys come up with.

I can confirm that 13611 is Rocky River Police Dispatch. Have been hearing dispatch and officers all morning.

Does anyone know if the Westcom cities will remain on one TG for dispatch once they migrate to the P25 system, or will each city have their own dispatch TG?

monitored 13592 today saying they were calling EMS and Cleveland PD to an incident so it is definitely some institution inside the City of Cleveland

I listened to this for a while and can't figure out who it is. If it were a City of Cleveland agency I would think they would be on the Cleveland system. They definately seem to be in the city as far as their operations though. PD/secuity type talk I think. Hard to understand the dispatcher.

Smile Group 13592

I heard this a few times back months ago.
I think it may be security at the Cleveland Library.
By the conversations I heard before it sounded like they were patrolling around the building and by the street names it sure matched where the Library is located.

Default TG 13592

We might be on to something here with the library tag. Iíve been been getting over 200 hits a day on this TG for months and have not been able to id. After reading this post I rechecked my recordings and Iím fairly certain this is Cuyahoga County Library security. Lots of mention of LSW (??) and other areas like Lakeshore where there is a large library and Glenville. I hear mention of main which Iím guessing is the downtown branch. Also I hear talk about a tunnel. Is there a tunnel to parking at the main branch downtown??
Personally I would love to get this into the DB and off my unknown channel on the HP!

I logged but did not hear TG 40512 with a TXID 679xxxx off Beachwood.

..unrelated but also logged but did not listen:

TG 19602 TXID 280xxxx and 13509 TXID 189xxxx both also off Beachwood. I know I can hear Geauga (the 28) but off Cuyahoga in this case.

Default Dayton, Ohio - Greene County

Hello

I am trying to program my Pro-2096 to receive OSP

I programmed the cc freq for Mont, Xenia and Springfield (I assume those are the closest to me)
I also added the ID for the talk groups and alpha tags. The fregs are set to MOT in the programming.
I am in Beavercreek and I do not hear anything on those channels. I do hear standard audio from all the others around me just not the OSP. Can anyone provide some insight? I also have referenced several of the wiki, seems like some are outdated? some are dated from 2009 to May 2013 but that info doesn't work.

From what I understand, the PRO-2096 will not track the new 700mhz. Marcs IP system.

That is correct. While they are capable of receiving 700 MHz frequencies when properly programmed (which if I recall correctly may require the Win96 software), the Pro96 and Pro2096 cannot track them for P25 trunking purposes.

You're all overlooking the bigger issue.

OSP is on MARCS, not MARCS-IP. Look in the MARCS DB for the info you need, and you'll be fine as it is still 800MHz. I'm not sure if you'll need to update tables in the 2096 (I don't think you will need to) as the systems have been rebanded recently.

I am sorry, I am really confused now. I had six other members give me conflicting info. So please help me understand correctly. I am sure that the Pro2096 will play audio from the Ohio Marcs system. I have several friends with the Pro2096 and I heard the OSP on their scanner.

We have set up several off the tables using the Ohio Marcs from this website (also the above link).
Things we tried: Bank 1 Ch 00 = no channel assigned. cc and alternate channels of the nearest site programmed and set to MOT mode. We programmed the ID group to the tables as defined by the wiki (DEC). freq bank is open
MOT 3600 CC = normal
MOT 9600 CC = normal

Wrc1045A, check your PM's, I sent you one. We'll get this board back on topic for MARCS-IP stuff again.
