Yeah, what's up with that? The ones I spot-checked seem to be the same as before. I can't check them all. ADMIN --- please explain.

Spelling, Sorting for Easier Use, Correcting Lat/Lon for Locations...

For example, the Greene County talkgroups were all tagged as being located in Northeast Ohio...

I have not heard of any plans for fire/ems switching to MARCS. This digital equipment is very costly and many departments, which are mostly volunteer just can't afford it.

I have had 12 hits this AM on 40519 but can't identify

I have had 5 hits this AM on 40509. Sounds like both FD and PD. Talk about running driver's license and also Units 27, 33 & 37 dispatched trucks to a location. Also heard Unit 159 to 100.

Locked on now trying to identify.

Talking

The 40509 had UIDs in the 679xxxx range which is Portage county but I couldn't pin down the agency. I thought the 100 series units were PCSO on the old 156.21 freq. The 40519 was previously reported as ENC on here.

ID 40509 has been silent since 11:30 AM. Whatever it is there is not much activity on it.

Default Washington Co Simulcast

I heard techs talking today about the fact that they are working on getting "Washington Simulcast" online. I suspect they are meaning Washington Co Simulcast. And that Simulcast site [if you go by FCC licenses] is going to end up being up to 11 sites.

At any rate, if your'e in Washington Co, I'd recommend that you do a scan from 768 mhz to 775 mhz and see if you can find a P25 control channel active.

Licensed freqs for Washington Co Simulcast are:

772.28125
772.88125
773.13125
773.38125
773.73125
774.43125

However, they also could be using frequencies from the state license. So it would be best to scan 768-775 mhz and report any P25 control channels [including relevant info such as RFSS, Site, frequencies in use, NAC, Neighbors].

Thanks

Mike

Default Zone 3 progress

Zone 3 seems to be progressing. No MARCS/IP sites are live [RF-wise] yet. However, the I'm guessing the zone 3 controller itself is probably sitting in Jefferson Co.

Site 1-098 (Dellroy) currently lists two new site neighbors, both being Zone 3 sites. I don't know which sites they are. If they are actively eminating RF, they are too far away for me to tell anything.

I'm going to try and get some more info.

Mike

Default 2-003 Lake Co Simulcast

Can somebody tell me if Lake Co Simulcast has been rebanded?

All active FCC licenses list only 850 mhz freqs, However, the RRDB shows the 850/860 freqs.

I would only like an answer from those who know positively, 100%. Basically, if there is one 860 mhz in use [like the DB suggests], rebanding hasn't been completed. But I suspect information has changed.

Is there anybody who monitors Lake Co Simulcast who has the ability to run Pro96com on that site [pristine] and collect the latest primary/alt control channels?

Thanks!

Mike

Default MARCS-IP Lake County

Mike,

Here's a what I just got from Pro96com for MARCS-IP Lake County. I see 860's freq's still in use as alternate control channels.

Thanks, Bud. I had it wrong [not thinking clearly].

860 is okay. The old 868 freqs were not [and have been removed]. Rebanding was already completed on this.

Info in the DB is accurate at this time [after I made a few changes earlier] to my knowledge.

Thanks!

Mike
