It was TG56120.

I am listening to them again this morning. They are having a good time with the new radio's. Think Cheech and Chong from the 70's and 80's.

A comment was made about to going back to the Kennel. Another commented on the good audio quality.

From my end the audio is very clear and natural sounding. Sounds like full quieting analog.

More testing this afternoon. This time TG's 56538 and 56542 showed up. I wasn't able to pick up everything because I am in Summit County (Cuyahoga Falls). My decode percentage is between 70 and 90 using a Motorola 3dB gain pigtail antenna.

I am more in the middle of lorain county. I was able to get two talkgroup hits but no decode today. I am using a pro-106 with an 800mhz antenna. I also pickup the other systems with no issues.

Default Tg56215

Monitored the following traffic at 11:15 a.m. on TG56215: Five one to five five, replaced defaced stop sign at (street names given).

Note that both radio id's started with 18. That is consistant with the radio id's monitored on TG56120 for the Kennel/Animal Control.

It looks like Cleveland will be following the MARCS County # radio id format.

Lots of chatter on TG 56215 all day today - UIDs: 1822000, 1822001, 1822002. Just a couple of guys giving each other a hard time and calling "in/out of the truck" with unit numbers in the 50s. Logging and recording voice all day.

I think we will have a real issue with this sytem in Lorain County. I live on the Cuyahoga / Lorain County boarder in N.Ridgeville and have a 12 Element Yagi with 75 ft. of 1/2 in Hard line pointing east and I cant get more than 49% decode. I know they are having issues with the system west of the city, I hope that as the old system is taken down they will add more sites. I have had a City programmed radio for a long time and I am hoping I don't have to do that again.

So I don't know if anyone rembers who posted that the Kennels and City Sign Dept were going to be the first on the new system but the post is gone. So to the member that posted it please feel free to let us know who will be next? You apparently have something to do with Motorola or the city. Thanks in advance!

Currently according to their license the closest sites to you would be Hopkins Airport and West 130th street.

There may be some hope in the future regarding reception in Lorain. There are 8 sites on their current licenses. Before Cleveland updated their current licenses they applied for and were denied 3 STA's which had a total of 14 sites. One of those sites is in Westlake, 2800 Ranney Pkwy. Which is just east of Crocker Road and north of i90. So just a couple of miles from Lorain County.

Regarding the traffic I'm hearing, there are two reasons. First I live just a stones throw from the Schaaf road tower. Second starting last Friday, Cleveland is the only system I've been monitoring. It's been pretty boring, only a couple of hits each day.

I am around 83 & Lorain and I get 0-55% no decode, an occasional TG pops up but never audible voice.

About 10:15 a.m. I monitored traffic regarding the filling of pot holes at various locations. Sounded like a street maintenance crew.

Any one else hear traffic on this TG?

One half of the exchange was encrypted. Information regarding the description of a vehicle that was provided by an informant. A comment regarding contacting the detective involved.

I suspect the users didn't realize only one side of the conversation was encrypted.
