You realize this is not the MARCS IP thread but GCRCN??

This morning I've been monitoring (ongoing work on pipes & tee's) Water Department or Sewer activity on TG56002. The radio id's are 18483xx.

TG56002, is a relatively unused Talk Group.

Default I just heard a rumor yesterday....

"Someone" told me that Euclid is "thinking about" going to the Cleveland system,
which makes no sense to me, then to make matters worse, a joint dispatch center
with Maple Heights, Bedford and Bedford Heights ?????/

Someone should look at a map for a couple minutes and think about this !!!

Another thing to "think about" can someone explain just what is wrong with
the current 420 system that Euclid is currently using ???

Euclid Mayor Bill Cervenik is term limited out, is this his "parting shot"?

Not to be political, but Cervenik leaving will be the best thing that happens to the city in years.

Wink

What does it matter where the dispatcher is sitting Don.

"Interoperability". Of course they had this for years and years but didn't know it. It was called 39.58.

David,

Systems are flagged whenever they are updated, so if you have confirmed the talkgroups, you may submit them without posting them here. Posting unknown or unconfirmed talkgroups in the forum is encouraged, however.

Default Testing TGs

Lots of "testing" from Radio Service today:

56484
56598
56599 - I believe I heard reference to "fireground"

Time, I guess, to keep our ears open!

73, Joe

Joe are you keeping track of TXIDs for S'ville FD? It's gonna be hard to determine who is what unless you are actually listening and watching I think.

Good finds! I had heard the dispatch center was to be equipped with 6 positions - which it appears you found!
