OK I'll bite.

Just outside the city limits of Columbus (Thank God because I own things that the city thinks are dangerous, hahahahahah)

I listen to:
CFD and surronding FD's on the COLS 800TRS system. Upper Arlington PD and Airport PD (Those are the only PD's I listen to normally)

Ohio MARCS, Madison County Fire, Fairfield County Fire, Grove City(Jackson/Pleasant Township) Fire and thats about it.

you can also hear me on the scanner. I do hospital stuff.

I live on the west side of Columbus and I listen to CPD Zone3 and county west dispatcher.
But what I listen to the most is all city, state and federal tactical channels as well as the police chopper on am aircraft band and on the 800mhz input frequencies. Never a dull moment.

Pickaway County, near the teeming metropolis of Commercial Point. Like Mark N8ICW, monitoring everything as far out as I can receive.

Day to day? Franklin, Delaware, Union, Madison, Pickaway, Fayette, Clark, Ross, Hocking, Fairfield, Licking, Perry, Muskingum, Knox and Morrow counties; when conditions are right, stuff from much farther afield in Ohio.

Ohio MARCS sites Columbus, London, Orient, Circleville, Bainbridge, Pleasant Valley, Londonderry, Sugar Grove and Lancaster.

Favorite monitoring targets: Railroads, Fire/EMS, Military, trunked systems, civil aviation sometimes... if there was a navigable waterway neaby I'd monitor that, too.

Scanner Equipment:
*Pro-2035 w/OS535 and Probe V7.0 monitoring milair.
*Trunker usually monitoring Ohio MARCS.
*Pro-96 and BCD396T monitoring MARCS, Franklin County and Pickaway County (and a Pro-2096 in the truck).
*One BC780 monitoring area trunked systems and another monitoring area conventional stuff.
*Motorola Radius GM300 and RS Pro-2006 for rail monitoring.
*RS Pro-2004 for low-band monitoring.

HF: Drake, Drake, Drake, Drake, Drake (T-4X/R-4, TR-4/RV-4, TR-7, R-8, SPR-4)
VHF/UHF: Yaesu FT2400 2m FM, Kenwood TS-700A 2m all-mode with 6m transverter, Kenwood TM-V7A 2m/70cm, Alinco DR-M06 6m FM

Antennas: A whole attic full....
*40m full-wave loop for HF, soon to be joined by a clandestine 75/80m dipole outside
*2 RS "Monitenna" clones and RS ground plane for general monitoring
*Diamond D130J discone for milair
*Decibel Products 800 MHz omni and 800 MHz yagi for trunked system monitoring
*Cushcraft Ringo Ranger for railroads
*Homemade J-pole and M2 HO Loop for 2m FM and AM/SSB
*Homemade half-square and Squalo for 6m FM and AM/SSB

Also various other handheld ham rigs and scanners, some of which I'm about to sell (got too many of the dang things).....
