Portage Co. SO using MARCS
So last Friday night I'm sitting out in the garage enjoying the peace and quite of no wife and kids babbling about black Friday being a week away.
So then the scanner starts making noise from "SO-67" #63648 Listed as MARCS Portage Co. on my unit. Two of our patrol units where doing car and portable radio checks around the county. Being here in the Northern end I knew all the points where the LEO was checking it at from the North post. And then the second LEO was doing his check ins from the Southern end of the county. I due hope that’s the new system there going to in the new year. Because even from the "DEAD ZONE" of Nelson Ledge's State Park area. And all along SR- 303 East of Hiram out to the county line, It sounded as clear as a bell.
I can only assume this was a test for what is to come???
