Exclamation Clark County Narrowbanding

New Carlisle crews were dispatched to a structure fire this morning, and I heard command tell all inbound units to switch to "V-TAC 11." Since narrowbanding was done, I'm hearing some new TAC channel assignments that we've never had before. Is this a new county-wide interop channel? I've tried to find information on this and no luck. Any and all help is, as always, greatly appreciated.

VTAC11 is the name for a nationwide public safety frequency: 151.1375 MHz, usually with 156.7 Hz PL.

The interop freqs are in the DB here: Interoperability Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Default Clark County Narrowbanding

Thanks! I'll program those into my scanner and see what I can get.

Do agencies need individual licenses for those, or are the set-aside for any official agency use?

From the FCC 3rd MO&O dated 10/10/00

"Under our Rules, an entity must have a license to operate a base or control station on these interoperability channels. Mobile operation, however, is permitted on these channels without an individual license (i.e., a blanket licensing approach). Public safety licensees who are eligible to hold a Part 90 license, or who are otherwise licensed under Part 90 of our Rules, can operate mobile units on these interoperability channels without an individual license."
