Default Phones,LEADS, and MARCS all down?

Many agencies across the state are reporting that landlines(both 911 and 7 digit) are down. The LEADS database is also down at this time per North Ridgeville PD radio traffic. Westcom Dispatch is advising all units to use the "legacy"(154.25) band instead of their MARCS P-25 TG.

Looks like a fiber optic line was damaged near Cleveland. Not sure how far out the issues are from CLE

Apparent fiber line break near Cleveland causes major widespread issues with phone lines, 911 calls

My favorite A.M. radio station (WKNR) in Cleveland has been knocked off the air too!

No issues heard in Central Ohio. News story reports "Northeast Ohio and other parts of the state." That's a long way from "many agencies across the state."

Typical news over-hype, take a regional story and try to make it sound catastrophic across the state.

Per channel 3 news in Cleveland it was a problem with AT&T. Lines were fouled up in Cuyahoha Co. for about 90 minutes. Everything is back to normal now.
