Also, as suggested before, try the search or close call feature of your scanner; you can find all sorts of fascinating stuff that way.
While I DO agree that the database is a great resource, and have contributed myself, I have never seen anything in there for the Wayne Co. Fair. Now that were in 2014 and halfway through the Medina co fair. I have still to hear traffic on 460.55 and am very unable to find a freq. that will be used in September for the WCF. Any help now a year from the last post here would be bowed upon. 73's KD8RWX

If you find anything, please submit it. Apparently nothing has been found, or submitted.

Again, the search function of your scanner is a much-overlooked way to find new things, and often some things one wouldn't normally expect.

The Medina Fair is still on 460.55 with a pl of 141.3. There is no repeater, so you have to be close. I am less than a mile from the fairgrounds and even I have an issue hearing some of the traffic using my APX7000.

So i'm just going to program assuming they are narrow-band radios.
I would hope now in 2014 someone could enlighten us on the freq's used.

Lightbulb Official medina fair radios

Having a close relationship with the board and being there from the Friday before the fair start to next Sunday when the fair ends, over the years I've acquired many frequencies from the Medina Fair.

Ch1 Directors 422.475
*Ch2 Security 460.55*
Ch3 Gates 469.125
Ch4 Infield 468.868
Ch5 Parking
Ch6 Tenable 424.525 or 422.475
Ch7 Event 1 ?
Ch8 Event 2 ?
Ch9 Event 3 ?

If you really want them I have the carnies radios, which are VHF something like 153.55.

Default Threads combined

All,

I have combined all three threads regarding the Medina County Fair into this single thread. Please use care when creating threads in the future to avoid duplicating an existing thread.

For future reference, the carnies most likely use FRS, MURS and/or itinerant business frequencies, all of which can be found on the Nationwide frequencies page of the database.
