Middle Point shows CC 853.6625 & AC 852.7500. Other channels for voice are 851.7625 & 852.3250.

As a side note, it appears that the Wapak site is undergoing rebanding. I'll be gone later this afternoon until later this evening. If someone doesn't beat me to the punch, I'll report the new information when I get back home.

You'd still have to set the rebanded trunking tables once a site is rebanded and would still likely want to determine what the alternate CC is if we haven't listed it.

But this should help people "prepare" for their local sites to be rebanded.

Those 850 mhz post-rebanding primary control channels have been added to all not-rebanded sites to help you all in the transition. Those post-rebanding primary control channels were taken from the MARCS-provided PDF mentioned earlier in this thread.

Mike
OK - sounds like a plan. I didn't notice other sites that I wasn't interested in.

Thanks, Mike... on both accounts . I know techs have dialoged with Helpdesk numerous times about Wapak, and I heard them either putting in or removing the directional coupler. So you may very well be right about it being rebanded by end of today. The only time I designate them as rebanded is if (a) I confirm them personally -- only in my neck of hte woods obviously, (b) the confirmation that a site has been rebanded is heard on Helpdesk talkgroup, or (c) somebody else confirms a site has been rebanded.

I'll look forward to hearing the status of Wapak later this eve.

I'd rather know specifically the two advertised control channels for that site rather than guessing at the second one at this point.

The bigger picture is that many sites [for which I know there are only two control channels] list more than two control channels. I'd like to get that cleaned up. I'm sure places like the Columbus Simulcast are different, but since the vast majority of sites only use two I would certainly like to verify the two and then clean up any remnants of other alternates listed.
Officially, there is one primary and one alternate control channel per site, although that number includes a reasonable number of widely-separated duplicates across the state, primarily among alternates. This is because the radios only allow up to 128 (if I recall correctly) control channels per system, and more than two per site including frequency reuse would put the total over that number.

The chances of any other than the primary and alternate being used are slim, and if it is necessary, the Motorola radios can search the band until a valid one is found. The neighbor control channel broadcast from adjacent sites helps speed this up if it's necessary.

You need to set up the rebanded trunking tables. Here is one article on how to do it (assuming you are using Win500 to program your scanner):

Custom Band Plans - UtahRadio

Hopefully somebody will be able to help you get things straightened out.

Thank you. I'll make the change in the DB if another admin hasn't already. Are you able to confirm any control channels?

Techs were at the following sites today. I heard them directly discussing rebanding of Wapak. I don't know if Wapak rebanding is complete, and I don't know if rebanding occurred at any of the other sites. But if you're near any of these sites you should check to see if they have been rebanded:

SOCF (Rosemont)
PEEBLES
OXFORD
WAPAKONETA

Report on Wapak site rebanding. CC is now 853.2250 and AC is showing 867.5375. Other voice channels are 851.9375 and 854.0875. It looks like there may be some more work to be done tomorrow. I'll report if things change.

A kind RR user has provided me Unitrunker data of him monitoring the Marysville site. I won't say his name because he might not want me to.

At any rate, Marysville lists the following site neighbors with rebanded control channels. I am not calling these sites as "reband complete" yet, but they certainly are in the process of being rebanded.

712D-007 Riverview - 852.85 cc
712D-031 Orient - 852.6625 cc
712D-032 London - 852.5875 cc

In all likelihood, rebanding on the sites listed above is complete. But they could be "in progress". At any rate, if they aren't completely rebanded yet, they probably will be by end of day.

If anybody can run Unitrunker on the above sites and obtain current information (from a pristine run of Unitrunker, after having deleted any pre-existing site of the same name from Unitrunker), it would be appreciated.

Other sites I've heard being worked on that may or may not be rebanded yet, but likely will be very shortly if they aren't, are:

fort recovery - rebanding declared complete (12:26 PM Thurs)
sugarcreek
peebles
gilmore (peoli) - NOT rebanded yet (just checked)
loveland (miami twp)
clarksville (washington twp)
beebe (beebe high ground)
kensington (in progress - one 850 mhz CC, everything else 860 mhz)

Monitoring with a conventional scanner I can confirm Riverview and Orient as active on the rebanded control channels. Can't quite hear London from home.

Also, traffic on HELPDESK indicates Fort Recovery rebanding is complete.

LIstening to their helpdesk comms now. I'm sure they'll be finished shortly on Fort Recovery. McAfee, Mobilecomm, B&C (?) are pretty good about checking in with Helpdesk. I think Staleys (New Phila) are pretty good about it too. The other company that handles the ones in my area don't seem to communicate over helpdesk. Fortunately I can monitor the sites directly and see.

852.1375

Which one(s) are alt ccs? I updated the DB though (using pre-existing alts that were in there but 15 mhz down).
