Clarksville (Washington Twp) should be done or near done. I anticipate hearing a helpdesk confirmation shortly.

We don't have Wapak listed as being rebanded at this time, so we're good.

Thank you for that information. And it sucks that they are doing them now. Just last night there was some great propagation and I was copying sites from here (Jefferson Co) all the way up to Geauga, Ashtabula, Cleveland and out into the northwest direction. i distinctly remember sitting on Wooster's CC monitoring stuff last night. Bah.

If you hear any suggestions that rebanding has been completed for any of those sites, please do let us know. I try to monitor Helpdesk when I can, but I gotta bring home the bacon too.

I just heard B&C clear with Helpdesk regarding the West Union site. But I didn't catch the first part. Did anybody happen to hear whether or not West Union was rebanded or not?

Bellefontaine must be in the process of rebanding today. I have cleared out UniTrunker multiple times today and continue to run Bellefontaine and the frequencies are changing all the time.

Here is what I do know based upon the new Marysville peer CC for Bellefontaine, which is showing 853.1625

Bellefontaine
853.1625 - CC
852.8125 - Alt

Peers are...
712D-8 Marysville
712D-18 Wapak
712D-34 Springfield
712D-36 Sidney
712D-47 Kenton
712D-61 Richwood

Default Dresden - Update

6F10-23 Dresden
Finally got Unitrunker running on a HP-1.

852.8625 alt CC

853.3875 CC

862.73750

863.21250

These 2 did not show in Unitrunker - but they did show in the HP-1's trunking analyzer.

863.2125
862.7875
I have loaded it with and without and I do receive voice with these 2 loaded

Now another anomaly - it does NOT seem to receive unless I load the custom band plan that was previously mentioned.

Peers
712D-19 - cc 867.1000 Linville
6f10-39 - cc 868.8750 Coshocton
6f10-43 - cc 863.1875 Bloomfield
6f10-44 - cc 852.8125 Conesville loks like it may have rebanded - fringe for me to confirm. Also 2nd CC, but that's what was showing
6f10-54 - cc 864.9375 Newcastle
6f10-57 - cc 868.200 Zanesville

This is really the 1st time I have had success with Unitrunker - open to suggestions, help.

Default An easier way to deal with MARCS rebanding?

Ok. I should know this ,and i probably did know this for certain at some point but simply forgot. I don't care. Makes no difference to me.

But I said to myself, "why not just set the MARCS sites that I listen to as rebanded [i.e. custom trunking tables with appropriate trunking table data]?" Then I enter in the likely rebanded control channels [usually 15 mhz down, but not necessarily 100% of the time -- plus I use what was listed in the Ohio MARCS PDF that Tom PYR put out].

So, I did that. I haven't noticed any problem monitoring any non-rebanded MARCS site even with the rebanded trunking tables in. Either I'm missing traffic and just don't notice it [which is entirely possible - i actually listen to control channels more than i listen to voice traffic], or everything is working just dandy. My thoughts are that I'm not missing one iota of traffic.

Anyway - I'd like to know what you think, if you know what you're doing and have thought about this. I figure that as long as this works, I'll just leave it like this until it has been confirmed that every MARCS site has been rebanded... after all, eventually MARCS will declare the rebanding as being complete. At that time I can go in and remove any 860 mhz freqs I have.

Anyone's thoughts? Might be just as easy for everyone to (a) make sure and program any/all likely rebanded control channels for each site and (b) set the trunking tables to the rebanded trunking tables. At least this works with the trunking tables as they are entered in by my EZScan software (5 lines for the trunking tables). I don' t know if this would work on the abbreviated example of rebanded trunking tables that I've seen.

I'm not suggesting that anyone do this. If you do and you're missing traffic, don't blame me. But my experience has been fine doing it this way. Of course, when I use UT I still only set Rebanded on sites that are actually rebanded. I like to minimize any chance of corrupt data.

Mike

I thought about creating one in the HP-1 with just control channels. Not sure if it would work, but I can't think of why not either. If so, it should work statewide and probably scan faster. When rebanding is all done I may try it - plus discuss with Uniden HP master.

If you create a list of all the CC's - post it and I'll C&P - don't think the pdf would work without some cleanup.
