Do you by any chance have a list of counties that are looking to join?
The following counties have executed partnership agreements with MARCS, in which they build their own tower sites and share the MARCS controller:
Clermont County (Tier 4) - currently under construction
Clinton County (Tier 2) - currently under construction
Franklin County (Tier 4) - currently under construction
Greene County (Tier 2) - operational
Warren County (Tier 4) - operational
The Tier levels are:
Tier 1 - subscriber only using MARCS towers and paying MARCS subscriber fees
Tier 2 - county which builds their own tower sites and asks MARCS to handle the maintenance and subscriber management
Tier 3 - county with separate standalone system connected to MARCS
Tier 4 - county which builds, maintains and manages their own tower sites and subscribers but shares the MARCS controller
Tier 5 - county with separate zone controller connected to and part of the MARCS network (Lake County/Zone 2 and Jefferson County/Zone 3)
Montgomery County / City of Dayton and the City of Columbus have stated the intention to enter into Tier 4 partnerships.
