If this is the case you're out of luck with the MD380. The new DMR capable scanners can hear these systems without any problems.

I discovered this the hard way when one of the public safety agencies went to RAS. I bought a Whistler TRX-1 to listen to them, since my Tytera and Hytera radios were of no good.
No RAS for them. I monitor them fine on my XPR4550. Maybe his radio is out of tune/alignment.

He said in an earlier post he was receiving them just fine on his 436 just not the MD-380. So per your description of RAS I don't think that's a factor in this case.

I was told last night at a meeting at the Sheriff's new building that all analog transmissions will END January 1st.
Encryption is on hold indefinitely.

That’s what I figured. They have been running mixed mode for almost 3 years now.

I downloaded mine from the RR database and it works fine. We have no idea what you have in your Sentinel.

That is what is loaded in mine and I have heard nothing. Exactly as RR has it listed. So I was thinking that maybe the frequency was incorrect in RR. But if that's how you loaded yours than makes me think it's on my end. Maybe I need to factory reset my radio and start fresh after getting the upgrade?

Ok so to add to the mystery, I installed Fairfield county DMR in my 436 again and when I was in Fairfield today I only received radio traffic on DMR when I was on the west side of the county. But by Lancaster and south on 33, nothing. So is there a different frequency on the East end?

Thank you for the info. DMR is new to me. Just when I thought I was good with radios, DMR entered the picture

All 4 sites are in Sentinel - if your DB is up to date - just apend from it.
