Default Nationwide Arena

I was just curious if anyone knew what Nationwide Arena uses. I definatley heard some activity on one of their channels last night, but their FCC license says its terminated. Any clues on that?

Those are the frequencies I thought they used. However, many businesses, even local govts still use their frequencies even if the licence has expired. It's illigal, but they still do it.

I am too far away to listen to those freqs, but those are the ones that have been reported as the ones they're using.

Anyone know what frequencies they use now? Looked in the Database and nothing is listed which surprises me. And didn't find anything in the FCC licenses for Franklin County at least under the Nationwide Arena name unless they use another name.

Anyway if anyone has any information I would appreciate it.

ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Trunked License - WPRG720 - NATIONWIDE ARENA - Frequencies Summary
ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Trunked License - WQPD236 - COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS ARENA MANAGEMENT

I don't know how accurate this info is Columbus Blue Jackets - Scanohio.com The new license above is for trunked frequencies.

If you have a scanner that does it, I would suggest scanning the various frequencies while you're in the arena. I have done that with some success. After it stops for a transmission, you could determine if it may be originating from that facility and, if so, include it on the ones you are listening to. Such large venues seem to have numerous frequenies in use for: security, concessions, parking, housekeeping, etc. Sometimes you may find there are frequencies duplicating the same transmissions. In some instances, the company using the facility (for example, the Longhorn Rodeo), has its own radios and frequencies in use there to communicate among themselves. If learned beforehand, those might be pre-set or discovered (and then set) once you are there.
