Now I'm a little frustrated. I bought a BCT-15 a few months back to track Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, and surrounding FDs. Now that most have made the move to the Regional Radio, this has become the very expensive paperweight. Unless I'm missing something here, I'm limited to Stow and Hudson, right??

Stow, Hudson, Boston Hts., Macedonia, Twinsburg and all of Portage County (except O.S.P.). But in a few months, you won't be able to hear Stow PD / FD. They are in the process of joining the Summit 800 mhz. system too. Might be time to consider a digital scanner if you want to monitor them.
Good luck!

Tg 36848
I've been monitoring Summit County for a couple months now.. RR has TG 36848 as 'Springfield Twp Police Ops '... Others have probably made note of this,, but I am very sure this TG is a dispatch for the Summit County Sheriff's department.... Feedback appreciated...

It is a digital system. BCT-15 is an analog only trunktracker, not a digital like the 996, 396, PSR500, PSR600 radios.

OOPs! I looked it up and figured it out earlier. I called Universal Radio and got a RA# and ordered a GRE 600 in its place.
Thanks for the pointer and accurate info.

Stow Regional Dispatch Center (part of Summit Regional 800) opening delayed until mid-August at earliest .. Tallmadge will continue to dispatch for Tallmadge & Mogadore until then.

Copley/Bath/Fairlawn/Richfield
Talked to a Bath PD officer I know tonight. Bath/Copley/Fairlawn cut-over to Summit800 is IMMINENT!!! Radios are installed. They are being told move date is around 8/7, definitely before Community Day (mid Aug?).
Richfield is still waiting for new towers in the NW section of the county. There are too many dead spots, as Valley JFD and Penninsula can attest.

Cuyahoga Falls begins providing all safety services including dispatch to Silver Lake at 10:00 July 15.
Their unit MDB's have mapping capablities (with GPS vehicle locators) to asssit repsonding units in locating addresses.
Also.. Stow will begin operation of their dispacth center Aug 29.
Tallmadge dispatch ops & dispatchers will transfer to Stow on that date.

Will Stow then be on the Summit 800 mhz system when Tallmadge joins them?

That's the grand plan .. Stow FD may be ready to go 800 at that time .. I do not believe Stow PD has the radios yet to switch. So you'll have different departments operating on diferent systems run by the same dispatch center. This is going to be ... let's just say, bizzare.

A couple of new TGs to keep an ear on:
38800 - heard "4 to 7 on car to car", possible Cuyahoga Falls PD Car To Car
61616 - heard "1507 to 1501", possible Copley FD, talking about helo arriving (sounds like festival traffic)

TG 36368 appears to be Munroe Falls Fire / EMS Dispatch, from the Cuyahoga Falls Dispatch Center.
Need further monitoring of the TG ID to confirm .. no change submitted to database until further documentation.

That's definitely Springfield Twp PD. Sounds like South Summit (Green, Springfield, Lakemore, Coventry, Franklin) are ready to move.
Here's the odd thing. Tallmadge and Mogadore did a ton of individual radio testing before the move. This is the first I've heard anything on this TG. On the flip side, Valley FD did like no testing.
