There are too many variables as to why you're not receiving Gahanna PD and MCEE.

Make sure you programmed the scanner right. Easier to Read BCD996T/UBCD996T Digital Scanner Manual

I have freescan and the Uniden software on my computer. I removed everything but gahanna in the (GRP) section of freescan and uploaded and I still get everyone else. I manualy put in the freq 857.6125c and talkgroup (17515) for gahanna disp. I get nothing.

Trunking scanners don't work that way. You have to put it in ALL the frequencies listed. The radio computer selects one for Gahanna PD to talk on at random. If you only have one, you will not hear most of the traffic.

Make sure you have to system set to ID SEARCH just in case you programmed the TGID wrong.

No idea which sites, but around Columbus MARCS and Columbus are on selected towers. Ask or look at some of the posts in the Ohio forum. Looks like you have the same site twice, but your cut and paste is useless to me.

That's where you should have asked anyway.

Disregard that error - means nothing.

The talkgroups are correct as listed, there must be some other programming issue you are having.

If you want to listen to Gahanna you need to program in the control channel for the Columbus MARCS site, 774.28125.

For GPD you need the Columbus MARCS tower (site 16); for MEC Center you need the Columbus City tower (site 10). Franklin County Sheriff would be either Franklin County (site 61) or Columbus City (they operate on both).

Thanks for all your help I am now getting Gahanna. What talkgroup would I put in for MEC? Once I get this going I would like to broadcast on here.

Put in their dispatch, fireground, EMS, and OPS talkgroups as they use them all. Also, put in the appropriate CFD talkgroups such as 9EMS 1, and the fireground talkgroups since these are used for mutual aid runs.

As mentioned, it's all there under the MARCS-IP system.

FYI, asking essentially the same question in two different threads is known as cross-posting. Cross-posting is generally not permitted in the RadioReference forums. The two threads you started have been merged.

If you are using a BCD996T make sure you have the latest firmware.
