I hope they dont treat a real emergency like that ....

two MOCK suspects got out of the "secure" perimiter and killed half of the eoc trailer.

EOC personnel had to ask for law enforcement security many times for security at the trailer.


it was a bad mock disaster and i hope they also realize how crappy the communications were.

Hey All,

The problem we have in our county, the LAW ENFORCEMENT (Excluding the State Highway Patrol, they do play well) generally WON'T play. Or if they do, they send part time or reserve people that work infrequently. So, as the drill progresses, they have NOT A CLUE as to what they should be doing.

When we have a REAL disaster, our sheriff gets on his plane and flies to Florida. That's what he did during our ICE STORM in 2003.

Our next drill for in this county will be June 10th. The OSP will be playing. Going to be in Greenfield Twp. Don't know "what" the disaster will be yet.

Radio traffic will be on MARCS and VHF-Hi. 155.295 PL 91.5. IF the sheriff participates, they will be on 155.565 - PL of 127.3...

Had a tornado a couple of years back. That was bad enough!!! It went through a rest area loaded with semi trucks. Got several mobile homes too. I just can't imagine anything much worse !!!! Be way over the heads of those that are SUPPOSED to control the situation!!!
