I just read an article in the Centerville paper about the Washington Township Fire Department looking into the possibility of having themselves dispatched by the county and eliminating their own dispatch center at FD Headquarters on McEwen Rd. The township just recently in the last year and upgraded all of their radios to make themselves interop with the rest of Montgomery county. I'll try and follow the story and upate this post for those of us interested here in SW Montgomery County.
