Cleveland, Ohio police frequency

Hi - I'm fairly new to scanning .. well, I grew up with scanners my Dad had.

I heard that the Cleveland Police use digital? DOes that mean Uniden Bearcat BCT8 coudn't access their frequencies? I'm thinking on getting a new scanner as the one I have is old, functional but limited.

Can anyone offer any assitance?

At the present time, there are NO digital capable scanners that will work on the Cleveland, Ohio radio system. However, give it a few years, when they finally upgrade and you might have better luck.
