CPD car-to-car communications

Hi folks,

new to scanning and just got my 396T up and working here in the Columbus area.

I loaded the police and fire trunk groups via ARC360 off the RR database and am up and scanning.

question: is it possible to monitor car-to-car comm. for CPD and/or other Franklin County departments? I am getting all disptach sectors and tactical with no problem.

I ask because I heard an officer mention that they were having serious radio problems in the part of town he was in, and they were switching to 800 car-to-car comm.

can someone help me out with where to find this info(maybe I already have it and don't realize it)? It does not show up on the list of trunks for Franklin County, CPD......

If they use Private call which a lot of them do then you can monitor it from anywhere you get the FCCA system
