I am the director of a Search & Rescue team. We are looking into our communications. We basically operate as a volly FD, and fall under the requesting PD or FD command and communications, however I have heard each state has a statewide SAR freq much like fire mutual aid and EMS M/A (154.280). Is there VHF SAR channels that anyone is aware of?

I know all 8 Regions within Ohio have a talkgroup (I believe) on Ohio MARCS. I know that Region 2 USAR Task Force uses it.
Are those just for FEMA teams on MARCS? I am looking for all freq, but especially the vhf and MARCS. We are looking to see if we can get on the MARCS system, as well as get a few VHF channels for when we go to a county we can't communicate with.
