I Need Help To Monitor The Ohio Fire Marshal's Office I Am Told It May Be Encripted Not Sure Got The Codes In Cant Ever Hear Anything Has Anyone Heard Them Or Got Any Ideas

They are on the MARCS system, they could be encrypted at anytime they would like its just a switch on the radio. I have heard them before on the talkgroups assigned to them. Its just a case of them not talking all that much.

I know one of the field inspectors for the Fire Marshals Office and he does not have a MARCS radio, (or at least I have never seen him with one).

He does have a Nextel unit that I have seen him use to talk to other inspectors.

If they aren't "active" or responding to a call in YOUR area, chances are, you won't hear them anyway. As far as a "frequency" if you have the tower Control Channel in for the towers you can hear, you already have the freq you'll hear them on...

They respond from their home a lot of times.

We hear FM33 (he's is Lawrence County) frequently when they send him to a call...
