I will be moving to the Chillicothe area soon and am wondering what scanners everyone uses to monitor that area? I have a Pro-93 and Pro-97. I'm not sure what systems those Counties use as I haven't looked at the database yet, but I would assume they aren't digital out there.

I am planning to get a Pro-96 to monitor MARCS, but will these other two work well for basic scanning in that area?

Also, I would like a desktop model for home use. Might even throw an antenna on the roof! ;) Any suggestions? I'm looking at the Pro-433 vs. Pro-2055.

Yes, you will be fine with the PRO-93 and the 97 in Ross and Pike County. They both use convention non-digital radio systems.

I prefer Radioshack units, so I would say the PRO-2055. I have one, and it performs perfectly for this area. If you don't want digital, it will do.
