Default MONIX Digital Scanners Users Group

In the Cincinnati area, several members of MONIX are meeting on Thursdays for a Digital Scanners Users Group. Most are using the Pro-96, however
there are a few with the BC296D. From these meetings they are compiling and tweaking area information for the V-folders. Each week this information
is sent to the Radio Shack store in Northgate Mall. If you have a Pro-96
you can take it there and get it cloned regardless whether you bought it
there or not. They will also clone one before you leave the store should you buy one there.

Several other Cincinnati area Radio Shacks are starting to pick up on this
and offering the cloning service (all free of charge).

Default Help

Can anyone help me (willing to pay) program my scanner into separate banks for West Chester, liberty, Fairfield (both city and Twp) townships? I would also like to have Cincinnati, Hamilton, Butler, Warren, clermont and Montgomery counties as well as all State channels.

What model is it?

If you can make it to one of our meetings, there is always someone there who can get it programmed for you.

We just had a meeting tonight. We will be having a meeting next Saturday (1/19) at 6 PM at the Donatos in Bellevue, Kentucky.

The MONIX Digital Scanner Team meets every Tuesday at 12:00 Noon at the American Legion in Greenhills (corner of Sharon and Winton Roads).

We had a great meeting tonight around with 12 members in attendance. For
the first time we created a Hangout on Google+ and had Frank Leidy (RRDB
Ohio Administrator) and Adrian Snowden joind us via live video/audio
stream. We talked about the expansion of MARCS on 700 MHz and we had a
presentation on 'Enhancing Your Listening on Your Mobile Device'. I have
created a MONIX Page on Google+, for those of you using it here is the
link: https://plus.google.com/b/112555055425533457034/

We may be creating more Hangouts from time to time keep an eye out for
announcements when (they maybe sudden).
Your computer will need a webcam and mic along with a Google account.

Thanks to all for attending and participating.
