Just wondering.....

Main interests with them would be the Delaware County system, and Ohio MARCS. Does the extra cost for the Uniden make any difference on audio quality? Looking to make the jump to a digital scanner but am a lil hesitant due to the cost. Any suggestions? What about rebanding?

Thanks!

My PRO 96 works great on Delaware County when I go to visit my kids/grandkids (one in Genoa Twp. the other in Delaware). Excellent volume and clarity. They'll probably be on sale soon with the new GRE out and adding competition. I don't know if it has changed, but RadioReference had the wrong freqs posted for the control channels...so I put the whole systems freqs in. It has probably since been corrected so you only have to enter the 4 freqs. Columbus and MARCS come in very strong as well.

Both of them will do rebanding, and they'll both probably be several generations old by the time that garbage hits this area anyway.
