Exclamation Ohio Listening on New Years Eve?

I'm in SE Ohio. Just wondering who everyone else might tune in to listen to for the big evening tonight?

I'll be listening to Gallia, Meigs, Jackson S.O.'s here in Ohio as well as the OSP on MARCS. Plus EMS from Gallia, the local PD's.

From Mason Co WV, I'll be listening to Mason Co S.O./EMS and Point Pleasant PD.

Generally, in our area of the state it is quiet on New Years Eve....

Thumbs up

Steve, Ill be listening to the Grand Lake area and some of Eastern Indiana. Its sad that the family from the East Coast got hit head on by a driver going the wrong way, to start the holiday weekend off. Ill also be hitting different areas on Scan Miami Valley feed site. Im sure MARCs will be busy. Hope you and yours and everyone has a safe Happy New Year. Hser

The only good dispatch I heard was a Middletown medic dispatched for a
person in the street passed out in front of a bar. This was around 8:10 PM,
so apparently someone got started early and never made it to midnight.

Exclamation Overnight...

Mason County had a big fire just after midnight. Requested mutual aid from Gallipolis FD.

Pomeroy had an attempted double homicide. The culpret is still on the loose. They have a BOLO out for him.

Gallia County had several fights/disturbances, nothing that amounted to much though...

Best I can tell, no one was actually "killed" in the tri-county area last night!!!!

Well it turned out to be a quite event full New Year Right of the bat. It seemed like someone hit a switch around here. One guy got stabbed in the chest 3 times and wasnt breathing, Dont know if he made it or not. Several bar fights, the usual domestics. Lots of Drunk Drivers going for tests and headin for the clink. Happy New Year too ALL.................Hser
