Actually, this isn't in the database. NCI West is (50752), but not NCI East.

I just added it to the DB.

I thought it use to be, but I have not looked at the data base that close for a while. NCI use's several TG's which I have monitored ever since I got my first Digital a few years back. 50752 is NCI TAC West, 48400 is NCI Maint, 48416 is NCI Dispatch, 50832 is NCI Control Center. I use to hear NCI Maint on 50800 but not lately.

Thank you. That's very helpful. I updated the DB with the descriptions you've provided!

This TPD-LCS patch does appear to completely violate the Ohio MARCS Radio Patching Policy (MPP-22.0) unless somebody had received express written permission or otherwise approved. This patch has been active since the end of September and is constantly up. But besides almost consistently typing up one of five available voice repeaters off the Toledo site, there does not look to be much other benefit. The only activity I have seen with Trunker affiliation data over the past 3-4 months is about 25 affiliations to that talk group from various OSHP Post 48 and 87 cars and portables. It looks to correlate with the increased OSHP patrols within the Toledo city area. This is definitely only in place to allow OSHP units to monitor Toledo Police and Lucas County Sheriff traffic as the radio is scanning multiple talk groups from the NW Ohio system. There has been no evidence in any two way communication across this patch.

It is probably at the point where we can list in the DB, like "TPD-LCS I/O" Toledo Police/Lucas Sheriff Interop Patch barring no other official confirmation/designation. The talk group falls into a group of generally unknown and unconfirmed local/county channels, and the radio ID in use is from within an block of previously known OSHP District 8/Wilmington radios.

It's very likely a pre-arranged patch for OSP; I suspect their radios are not set up for the NEO system, and won't be until they get set up for MARCS-IP. This patch is probably an interim solution until MARCS-IP is built out, but it's still most likely a temporary situation.

I'll enter it in the database as such; if you find otherwise please advise via submission or PM.

It looks like Mr Swisher was 100% correct when he stated the Toledo & MARCS patch would not last long, TG 25296 has not been active the last 3 day's. Looks like all good things must come to a end...lol

I was sitting in my S-I-L's driveway tonight (in Willoughby) waiting on the wife and got hits with my PRO-2096 on 3 TG's that do not show up in the latest library download for my PSR 800. I was unable to make out who they were from the audio, anyone know who they are?

Are those on MARCS or MARCS-IP?

Yes I was gonna ask just that.

Those three TG's are listed in the MARCS IP section of the RRDB.

When I went thru the latest library in my copy of EZ Scan I did not see them in either listing, I will check the DB online and see.

Their ID's would appear to be what I picked up, its just that the library wasn't in numerical order and I didn't look far enough, Thanks.

Default TG 55360

TG 55360

Likely [guessing] another East Ohio OSP talkgroup, along the lines of 55264/55296. Only heard traffic on it once today and didn't note the tower I heard it off of. But my guess is another East Ohio OSP replacement talkgroup. I'll keep my ears peeled. "CW2" was talking to another character whose ID I didn't catch.

Heard again. CW2 was talking to Atwood 1 (i.e. at Atwood Lake area in Dellroy, Carroll Co). CW2 was checking on a supposedly locked bathroom, which was reported as locked by a person in lot 636. I'm fairly sure they didn't say GW2 (as in Game Warden), but I could be mistaken.

So my guess is this is Atwood Lake Park, Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) or ODNR talkgroup. Maybe park rangers, but does Atwood have park rangers? It's not an SP.

If you're in the Atwood Lake region [which I will be moving to later this summer], you might want to add TG 55360 as it obviously carries some type of traffic related to Atwood Lake.

According to this page the MWCD has its own rangers at Atwood Lake.

Hmm, thank you. I bet that's it then -- probably MWCD Rangers.

(sidenote: Interesting that the OSP Lisbon talkgroups changed from the ones they used for years to 55264 / 55296, and now we've got 55360 mixed in with them. All East Ohio stuff. 55328 is probably mixed in somewhere around here too, so I'll be on the lookout for it.)

MWCD covers a pretty big area. But I'd bet that talkgroup (55360) isn't exclusive to Atwood Lake but probably for all MWCD service areas.

I'm going to add it to the DB as MWCD Rangers. If a more accurate description is determined down the road, we'll change it.

I'm going to sit on 55360 for a couple days before adding it, just to see if I can pin down a beetter description of what is going on.

Default TG 55360 and 55424

Another talkgroup in the same vein as TG 55360 -- this time TG 55424.

Referencing fixing a picnic table spigot at Lot 14. Also referenced the amphitheater. Atwood Lake does have an amphiteater, but I can't be sure that they were referencing Atwood Lake on this one. Other places in the MWCD may very well have amphitheaters. Just heard them again, this time talking about the person at Lot 216 is going to need for them to move his camper this afternoon.

So I thik 55360 and 55424 are related and both have had Atwood Lake related activity on them. Beginning to sound even more like MWCD talkgroups.
