While listening in on 27.185(ch19),I heard someone in an aircraft, with the call name;Skycap.I asked his location,he was 10miles to the north of Tulsa,Ok,on a westward heading,at 22,000 FL(flight level).40 miles to the Northwest of me.I asked what type aircraft;get this,,,He said I am a USAF C-130,talking to multiple counties, and truckers on their HF radio! no joke,I would'nt have thought much about it,being on ch-19,and such, but,I have heard him before,a couple of years ago,and could not make contact.Keep in mind,I am also an avid Mil-Air monitor as well. You could hear his conversation with other stations, seemed like forever, til he finally faded out.Cool stuff!

Fairly common on the ham bands, why let a perfectly good Collins 618T HF radio go to waste while on an otherwise boring cross-country flight.
