I'm new to this and need help! I'm looking for a scanner to pick up OKCPD. I have a $600 BC, but always used the old radio frequencies (158.9700 for Hefner Division). My friend is really into radios and said it is impossible to scan OKCPD now with their new system. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

You can listen to OCPD (but not FD) on their links to the State Smartzone system: Oklahoma Wireless Interoperability Network (OKWIN) Motorola Trunking System, Various, Oklahoma - Scanner Frequencies

I have NO clue how to program the trunking stuff. I have a Uniden BCT 8 TruckTracker. Any help programming would be great!

Try this instruction set: Programming the BCT-8 - The RadioReference Wiki and reference the link above to the OKWIN system for the frequencies to program in. You will ONLY need the red and blue frequencies on the database page programmed in.

You will also need to enter the "Custom Tables" on this system since it has rebanded.


Once you get the system working, you can set it up to only listen to OCPD (and block anything else).
