Do you believe the provoice system will be left for P25 in the OKC area?

Do you have any time frame and do you think OKC FD will use ESK?

If they haven't changed by now they probably won't.

They will eventually have to upgrade to something else. Harris has discontinued manufacturing EDACS systems and will end support for them in about 5 years.

And from what I understand, the provoice communication system is an absolute, error-free, never failing,
emergency communication system...and....at a very reasonable, ridiculously low price, to tax payers.

In terms of price, similar to the 300 (or so) new digital (encryption capable) radios Tulsa now has.
