Default Wildfire Scanning

Beside Mutual Aid and local FD channels. What are some other recommend channels to listen to?

The usual local FD channels, plus the VTAC channels and 158.880 for AIR OPS, and State Fire 154.130.

If the fires are bad enough that they have to bing in federal assets and a federal IMT they might srart using some of these:

Some of the frequencies in that article may be obsolete by now. Best thing is to search 162-173.2 and 173.4-174 in 12.5 kHz steps.

Listening to the Woodward and Roger Mills streams, I've often heard them say "we'll be operating on State Fire today."
