Ok guys after some looking for a manual I found one but it is in several prn files, that I cannot open, with what I have. so I found this on uniden's site, covers a lot of scanners including the 800. to enter a frequency do the following
1. Press Manual 1 Manual
2. Enter a Frequency
3. Press E
4. Press Hold (This will advance the scanner to the next channel)
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4
sorry this is the best I can do.

Hi,

Thanks for your help KCOQNB I also have had no luck in printing from these files. The printer types two lines of code at the top of the page, spits it out and does it again and again, till I shut the printer off. I have a Win 98 computer I was going to try printing it using DOS.

I thought someone might have the manual and I could pay them for their time and expenses to scan and print a copy.

Your directions will give me a place to start to program the scanner.

Thank you,

Blackberry
