Note: The spec in the manual and other online resources state the radio recieves 30mhz to 1.3ghz. With the software that will be included with the radio it is as simple as checking a box in the software prior to uploading the data to extend the receive coverage down to 500khz. The little rig actually does a good job of receiving down that low. I have read it's the same receiver as the R10 but i don't know that for a fact. It doesn't have an internal bar antenna for AM broadcast reception but with my 40 meter dipole connected to it, it works great. I have used it just as a scanner so it has very little transmit time on it. A set of double A's seem to last forever in the thing.
Also have a Bencher BY-1 Paddle in great shape i can throw in if need be.
Any questions feel free to email, call, or PM me here. Or if you need bigger higher resolution pics just ask.
